Support
A supportive community is dynamic and intentional. We are creating spaces where people living with mental health conditions can find acceptance, grow, and thrive.
Clubhouses
MHA clubhouses are local community centers that provide members with opportunities to build long-term relationships that can help them secure employment, education, and housing.

The clubhouse model focuses on strengths and abilities. Through friendship, shared work, education, and employment, clubhouses help people live hopeful and fulfilling lives.
“Moments of being seen by other people, and being met with respect or even enthusiasm, can energize and invigorate us and help create bonds within our neighborhood or community.”
MHA clubhouses provide these kinds of opportunities for our members.

Peer Place
The journey for individuals with mental health conditions is not always smooth. Building resilience makes it possible to navigate setbacks and sustain long-term recovery.

At our Peer Place Well Being Center, members socialize with others and participate in group and one-on-one support with trained peer support mentors.
“Peer support is the process of giving and receiving encouragement and assistance to achieve long-term recovery.”
When people are asked what made the most significant impact on their recovery, they point to their support from friends and family. Peer support mirrors these relationships by empowering people to make the best decisions for themselves.
